Infant to Preschool
We use the Frog Street’s early childhood programs, which offers specific curriculum for every age and ever stage of development birth to age 5. The curriculum is built on four key cornerstones: early brain development research, intentional instruction, developmental learning domains and social and emotional development emphasis.
Our educational based curriculum is tailored to meet each child’s need. Our staff stresses language, social and emotional, cognitive and physical development. Skill development is in the areas of alphabet, print, vocabulary and comprehension are a focus, as well as social interactions, critical thinking and creativity in solving child-sized problems, and the development of motor skills.
Our before and after school child care services and Enrichment programs are aligned with the Wilkes-Barre and Dallas Area School district curriculums and customized to a child’s progress and needs. Programs include STEM Projects, homework assistance, sports and recreation.
All of the Building Blocks Learning Centers have a set curriculum and structured activities every day. Building Blocks is licensed by the PA Department of Human Services and Keystone STARS accredited.
